Patients with diabetes more vulnerable Cancer

Based on the results of a survey of 400 000 adults, publishes the journal Diabetes Care revealed, approximately 16 of 100 men with diabetes and 17 on 100 women with diabetes registered with cancer.  During this time, only seven of 100 men and 10 for 100 non-diabetic women with cancer.


"The link between cancer and diabetes strikes not make us surprised," said an expert epidemiologist from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Chaoyang Li.


According to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 9% of adults in the United States suffer from diabetes of.  After reviewing a number of factors such as age, the race, smokingand drinking alcohol, researchers have concluded that men and women with diabetes 10 times higher at risk for breast cancer was diagnosed.
